Breakfast at Harrahs - Beach Cafe

Beach Cafe at the Harrahs in Laughlin, Nevada seems to be a popular spot for breakfast.

Here is another (verified) review we received from a recent visitor.

-----

My husband and I visited the Beach Cafe the day after New Years.  We were staying at the hotel and were leaving that afternoon.  Having never tried the cafe we thought it was worth a try for a last breakfast in Laughlin.  The casino was busy but we were seated right away and the service was fast and prompt.  Coffee and Mimosas were ordered first.  It seemed like a great deal because the Mimosas were even less expensive than the cups of coffee.  We did wonder why they served them in a tall high ball glass instead of how you usually see them in a champagne glass.  Still they were good and worth $2 each.

I ordered the 1/2 Eggs Benedict and it was excellent.  It was served with hash browns and is the perfect size.  A full order would of been too much (but perfect to split with someone).  He had the combo breakfast and chose scrambled eggs, country sausage, hash browns and pancakes.  You can choose bacon or sausage and toast or pancakes.  The sausage was the best part, nicely cooked, juicy.  Way better than the normal links you get.  You get two with the order and yes he did share them.  He also liked the hash browns (with hot sauce). The eggs were declared to be only lukewarm and a bit watery though.  And the Pancakes (2 good sized cakes) were barely warm and dry.  Our daughter made Hungry Jack pancakes from a pouch mix with water a few days later and they were better than the ones served at the Beach Cafe.

Overall we enjoyed the breakfast but would stay away from the pancakes.  In retrospect we should of just told our server the eggs and cakes were not hot, even though the hash browns and sausage were hot.  Prices were good.  We recommend the Beach Cafe if you want a nice, fast, inexpensive breakfast.  Get the Eggs Benedict, you will love it.
