Mississippi Style Pulled Pork Sandwich - Tropicana Laughlin

After hearing how good they are, we finally got a chance to try the Mississippi Style Pulled Pork Sandwich being offered at the Tropicana Laughlin. Several times we were there it was not being offered on that day or we didn't have time. This time we made a point of making a run in and we were not disappointed.  The sandwich is excellent, good quality, cooked to perfection, with a tangy not-too-sweet-not-too-spicy sauce.  Topped with coleslaw and on a fresh roll.  Our only complaint would be that we couldn't get another one at the discounted $1.99 (for loyal locals) to take home!

The sandwich is offered at the Taqueria del Rio Cantina in the Tropicana Laughlin for a regular price of just $6.99.   For Loyal Locals Players Club members who earn 25 base points on their cards on Friday, Saturday or Sunday the price is only $1.99.  You do have swipe your card at a kiosk and take the voucher that is printed to the Catina.

The Taqueria del Rio Cantina is right between Carnegie's Dining Car and Passaggios restaurant just off the Casino floor. They also offer many Mexican choices on the menu.

Current hours listed on their website are:
Friday: 4 p.m.- 10:00 pm
Saturday: 11:00am - Midnight
Sunday: 11:00am - 9:00pm.
