The 3rd Annual Smoke on the Water BBQ & Music Festival is coming to the Riverside Resort.
May 2nd and 3rd
Smoke on the Water Productions is bring some of the world's top BBQ teams to Laughlin, Nevada for the 3rd Annual Smoke on the Water Nevada State BBQ Championship. This is one of the largest contests in Nevada with a guaranteed prize purse of $20,000. 35 BBQ Teams are expected and they will also be competing for the state sanctioned Nevada State BBQ Championship title, moving on to the $100,000 USA BBQ Championship at the Riverside Resort in the fall.
BBQ categories will include chicken, brisket, pork butt and ribs. There will be demonstrations with free sampling on both days.
Live entertainment will feature bands, Powerhouse and The Marvelous Mustangs.

Friday, May 2nd
11AM - Opens
12PM - 30-minute Pork Grilling Demo with free sampling
12:30PM to 3:30PM Powerhouse performing
2PM - 30-minute Brisket Grilling Demo with free sampling
4PM - 30-minute Chicken Grilling Demo with free sampling
4:30PM to 7:30PM The Mustangs performing
Saturday, May 3rd
11AM - Open
12PM - 30-minute Pork Grilling Demo with free sampling
12:30PM to 2:30PM - BBQ Judging at Judges Tent
2PM - 30-minute Brisket Grilling Demo with free sampling
4PM - 30-minute Chicken Grilling Demo with free sampling
4:30PM to 5PM - Powerhouse performing
5PM to 5:30PM - Nevada State BBQ Championship Awards Ceremony
5:45PM to 8PM Powerhouse performing
