More visitors, less gambling in June for Laughlin

On July 25, 2014 the State of Nevada Gaming Control Board issued a press release with the Nevada Gaming Revenues and Collections for June of 2014.

In terms of local interest, for LAUGHLIN the June of 2014 gaming win was $33,436,843 

This is a 3.53% decrease over the same period in June of 2013, which showed a win of $453,280,274 



Laughlin's numbers for the fiscal year (July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014), show a slight decrease of just -0.84%  

Meanwhile, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority reported that the number of visitors to Laughlin for June of 2014 was 189,700. This is a 5.6% increase over June of 2013.


Statewide Nevada reported a total gaming win of $906,904,294 for the month of June 2014.



This is a 14.36% increase compared to June 2013, when the gaming win was $793,058,748.

For the fiscal year (July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014), gaming win statewide increased 2.94%.

  1. Gambling is down because nobody ever wins anything anymore, the machines are so tight that it's not fun anymore.
