Das Beer Fest 2014

Laughlin, Nevada

6th Annual Das Beer Fest

October 3rd-5th

The Das Beer Fest is back at the Colorado Belle portion of the Riverwalk and the Loading Dock Bar & Grille.   Last year it was held in the front of the Belle because the Loading Dock was still under construction.

The Music

They will take the stage outdoors at the Loading Dock Bar and Grille and be doing many traditional German, songs (all band members are German or of some German descent).  You can expect to hear a good variety of Bavarian folk and Oktoberfest type music.  The music is free entertainment.  The beer and food is sold at additional cost, but usually is pretty good at not too expensive pricing.

The Beer
Beer will be feature favorites from Germany, Holland, Belgium and some U.S. Microbrews. Specialty Oktoberfest beer will be available as well.  And of course, Pint's Microbrewery will be have selections avaialble as well.

The Food
In keeping with the theme of the festival, food will feature many German style items.  Pricing for food is ala carte and range from $2-7.    Items you can expect to see are:

  • Pork schnitzel sandwich
  • Cheddarwursts
  • Foot long frankfurter
  • Half-chicken marinated in stout
  • Beef Stroganoff
  • German potato salad
