Laughlin Gaming Revenue Up in May, Vegas Strip takes a steep drop

Laughlin, Nevada



The Nevada Gaming Control Board reported that Laughlin Casino properties gaming revenue was up for the month of May 2016.  

Meanwhile, a steep 11.68% drop in gaming revenue on the Las Vegas Strip led Nevada into an overall 4% decrease for the month of May (2016).

Elsewhere in Clark County the many other areas saw gaming revenue increases.

Downtown Las Vegas was up    13.11% to $50.4 million
North Las Vegas was up            27.81% to $27.2 million
Laughlin was up                        1.94% to $39.6 million   
Boulder Strip was up                 25.87% to $77.5 million

Only Mesquite was down 2.76% to $9.6  million
