Players Club Changes Coming to Colorado Belle and Edgewater

Laughlin, NV

Colorado Belle Casino

The Colorado Belle and Edgewater Casinos both operate an Access Club Players Card.  However, both have their own card that accumulates points at their property, even though you can use comps accrued at either one.   That is changing in August as they switch to 1 player card for both properties.  Details still have not been announced and as of today the cards have not been available, nor is there anything on their website about it.

We recently did receive a mailer with the following information--

They also were "kind" enough to send us a 21 dollars in FREE play.  But the free play is broken out over several days and only redeemable on the specific ones they assign it to.   Plus, who is going to make a special trip to play $3 in free play on a designated day?

There have also been complaints of long lines because any free play now awarded has to be redeemed at Casino Services instead of being available directly on the card as it was in the past.   This is supposed to be only for the month until the new system is in place.   It isn't a great start and reflects poor advance planning on the part of management.  At least in our opinion.

Hopefully with their new system also they do away with this method of rewarding free play benefits and allow their customers to use them when they desire.   We are looking forward to seeing what kind of benefits the new players club offers.   With any luck, it will be friendlier to not only local players, but also to visitors from out of the area.
