Breakfast at Black Bear

Bullhead City, Arizona
Black Bear Diner

The Black Bear Diner is just a short drive across the river from Laughlin, NV.  We had not been there since long before the fire and subsequent remodel.

We were early for an appointment so decided to stop in for Breakfast.  The place seems very popular, especially on weekends.   Our visit was on a weekday but they were still busy.

We were seated quickly, our server was fast too, taking drink orders, bringing out our coffee.

The menu is a newspaper, which is a unique idea but they seem to get tattered and worn.  For some reason he told us we could keep then and take them home if we wanted.   No, thanks.

All three of us ordered a version of the Basic breakfast, 2 eggs with choice of bacon or sausage, choice of potato, toast.  Portions are huge, everything was really good.  Especially the thick cut bacon and sausage links.   For $8.99 it is a pretty good deal.  Coffee was $2.49 a cup, with refills as much as you wanted.

Black Bear has dozens of other choices for breakfast.  Most, except the smaller portion section, are priced higher than $8.99.   Plus they have many desserts including these ones on display at the check out counter.

We don't dine in Bullhead City often.  However, if looking for breakfast over there, it seems like you can't go wrong with choosing Black Bear Diner.  Denny's located right across the street didn't look busy at all.
